I was a 15-year-old struggling with mental health while trying to find my place in the world, understand the thoughts and feelings going through my head, and comprehend the experiences I was having. This is the first time in my life I was able to acknowledge some of the feelings I was experiencing and remembering some childhood trauma. While a deeply personal piece I knew others around me dealing with their own hardships and related to my piece. Beginning of art that I resonated with while looking for the bigger picture for more people to be able to relate.
